2019 Reunion — Montgomery, Alabama
Summary
The Rowell Family gathered in Montgomery, Alabama from June 28 – 30, 2019 for a weekend of family, food, and fellowship. The reunion was held at Embassy Suites, which offered a free daily complimentary full breakfast for guests in the room block. Forty-four family members attended.

Hotel
Embassy Suites was selected for its complimentary breakfast offering. The hotel required a minimum guarantee of 10 rooms; the reunion actually used 15. Nightly room rates ranged from $124 to $144. A deposit of $575.00 was required and was issued by the reunion treasurer (Cassandra Miller) from the reunion bank account.
Leadership Transition
At the close of the 2019 reunion, Mary Moss, the immediate past chair, passed leadership of the next reunion committee to Lorenzo Slay. The 2026 Rowell Reunion is being planned by the appointed committee:
